Senior Lawyer
Emilija Švobaitė is an employment law expert and a human rights activist. She works as a lawyer at May 1st Labour Union (G1PS) where she provides legal assistance for the employees regardless of their legal status. She is a co-founder of association “Sienos grupė” providing humanitarian help and integration assistance to migrants, refugees and people on the move. In 2024, Emilija received the Innovative Lawyers Award at REDRESS, an international human rights NGO that focuses on justice and reparation for victims of torture. Emilija Švobaitė studied History of Art in London, French language at Vilnius University and graduated law at Mykolas Romeris University Law School in 2022. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law at Vilnius University.
