Senior Lawyer
Emilija Švobaitė is a lawyer specialising in employment and human rights law, with a particular focus on migration, workers’ rights and access to justice. She is the Head of Sienos Grupė, a civil society organisation providing humanitarian and legal assistance to migrants, refugees and people on the move, and advocating for human rights and more equitable migration policies. In 2024, Emilija received the Innovative Lawyers Award from REDRESS, an international human rights organisation dedicated to securing justice and reparation for survivors of torture. She holds a Master’s degree in Labour Law from Mykolas Romeris University and a degree in French Philology from Vilnius University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Law at Vilnius University.
